Sarah Belchor
Hello, I'm Sarah, a dedicated yoga practitioner since 2016. My journey began on a surf trip in Bali, Indonesia, where I first encountered yoga through the Ashtanga series. Over the years, I have received various certifications, including Yin and Restorative Yoga at the Yoga Barn in Ubud, Bali, Iyengar-inspired Vinyasa at Red Skies Yoga in Jacksonville, FL, and my latest certification in Sivananda Hatha Yoga and Vedanta-based philosophy in Guatemala. I hold a 500 E-RYT in Ashtanga Vinyasa and now lead retreats and trainings with the international School Yoga Institute.
For me, yoga is a pathway to deeper self-connection. My classes are a blend of inspiration and challenge, incorporating dharma talks, Eastern philosophy, and dynamic asana practice. Yoga is an all-inclusive practice that caters to those seeking self-awareness, physical and mental strength, or improved mobility and flexibility. I empower my students to meet themselves where they are, making my classes accessible to all levels.
When not traveling, I teach locally, and you can often find me outdoors hiking, surfing, biking, or paddleboarding with my dogs. Join me for a class and discover how yoga complements all forms of activity, including strength training. My mission is to leave my students feeling connected, empowered, stronger, and with a greater sense of self-love. "Community motivates us to show up as the best versions of ourselves every day. I am dedicated to creating safe spaces where self-growth is encouraged, and joy and ease can be found in both body and mind." With all my love and gratitude, Sarah.
